Encrypt All Document Contents. Encrypts the document and the document metadata. If this option is selected, search engines cannot access the document metadata. Encrypts the contents of a document but still allows search engines access to the document metadata.

You can prevent users from changing PDFs. The restrict editing option prohibits users from editing text, moving objects, or adding form fields. You can prevent users from printing, editing, or copying content in a PDF. You can set the restrictions you want to apply to the PDF. Users cannot change these restrictions unless you give them password. To open a restricted PDF in these applications, the user must enter the permissions password. In rare instances, you need to remove a password from PDF files because you don't have access to the correct password. It is one of the best methods to remove passwords from PDF files because it removes protections and restrictions on editing, printing, and copying.
Here is the PDF password remover free download. You can import up to PDF files at a time! To import the PDF files, click the icon in the middle of the interface. If you want to upload files in batches, you can click the folder icon and import all files within the folder.
You can also drag and drop the files to import the encrypted ones. There are two things to note here: when no lock icon appears on the PDF item bar, the PDF is protected from editing, copying, and printing only. Click the "Start" button to remove these restrictions. On the other hand, if a lock icon appears, then the PDF has an open password, which prevents the file from being opened. You'll need to enter the password first to unlock the PDF file before you click on the "Start" button.
Access to the webdav share stays connected untill the User logs out of Windows, and while they are logged into Windows, the user can continue to browse the files and folders, it is only when try to open a MS Office document or an Adobe Reader PDF, they will be prompted to enter their user credentials.
For each and every Office document that the user opens in this way, they will be asked for their user credentials. Just as you reported, so it is in our case, "their WebDAV and Outlook stays connected all day with out relogon", it is when they try to open a MS Office file using Windows Explorer that they are prompted for their user credentials.
Opening text files with Notepad does not generate the request to re-enter their user credentials, so far I have only found this issue with Adobe Reader and MS Office. Access to the webdav share stays connected until the User logs out of Windows, and while they are logged into Windows, the user can continue to browse the files and folders, it is only when try to open a MS Office document or an Adobe Reader PDF, they will be prompted to enter their user credentials.
For each and every Office document that the user opens in this way, they will be asked for their user credentials that is opening documents using Windows Explorer. It seems that each Office application has its own, independent user credential cache and does not rely on Windows mapped WebDAV share for credentials.
No one seems to have an answer to this issue of Office asking for User Credentials when opening the first document from a WebDAV networked mapped drive. Is that because;. What I really don't understand is since Windows has already authenticated to the webdav server, why should Microsoft Office applications each want to authenticate again. I guess that internally they are not accessing the webdav server's share as a mapped drive, but in reality are making their own Internet connection to the webdav server.
I wonder why Office apps access files on webdav mapped drives directly, instead of allowing the Windows File System to manage authentication and data transfer, as it is done for files on local server based mapped drives. Please let me know if there will ever be an update for MS Office that will resolve this issue. I have found that the "Method 2" work-around works and does help in reducing the frustration of the prompts as per the two following recommendations.
Of course it does not stop the prompts, it only reduces the number of times users are prompted. Leave the application open — For those who want to maintain direct-editing functionality but for whom FBA with persistent cookies is not an option, the users can reduce the impact of multiple prompts by leaving the application open after the first access is made.
Select "remember the password" — The requests for credentials can also be less intrusive if the user selects the option to remember the password. I ended up just giving my users a Macro program which they record their username and password and just click 1 button to login every day. Just have to say that you are not alone in this We have the same problem and it is a BIG problem for our customers!!
Please share the screensshot of the prompt for a better understanding. The Internet is required to complete the licensing process on the first launch and every 30 days to validate your subscription. Software attempt to validate your software license every 30 days.
You receive a reminder to reconnect to the Internet to validate your license after the 30 day period has expired. We are sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. We have the exact same problem Acrobat keeps asking for Adobe account password multiple times a day.
This is unacceptable: the licences are incredibly expensive and the product fails at simplest task. Because asking for password when opening a local PDF is an impressive failure. We just made a switch to a new Licens this fall, and now people are getting asked to login all the time.
This never happened prior. Why doesnt there seem to be a solution to this?? Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat you are using?
