Going to tweak it this weekend for a coed party. We are doing this tomorrow at work for New Years and came up with these ideas. Draw a line for the floor.
Draw a clock on the wall showing midnight. Draw a table. Put some snacks and drinks on the table. Draw 2 people at the party kissing. Decorate for the party. Our points are similar to the original posting. Points for: the clock on the wall and not touching the floor, the table on the floor, the snacks and drinks on the table, 2 people kissing, decorations at the party. Good luck and hope this helps! I am so doing this for our thanksgiving party! Love this idea! So much fun!!

There are so many trivia board games out there that you can pretty much play to a common interest of your group. If you are all fans of TV shows like The Office or Seinfeld , there are games that will challenge you to recall famous quotes and scenes.
I recently saw a game called Name Chase , perfect for history buffs, that provides facts and clues about historical figures. The fewer clues you need in order to guess the person correctly, the higher your score.
And if you are serious foodies, Foodie Fight , with over 1, food-related trivia questions, might be a good choice. Catch Phrase has always been a party favorite among my friends. The hand-held electric game provides a word, and, in typical Taboo fashion, you have to describe the person, place or thing without using the word in question in a way that will enable your team to guess it.
In the meantime, the host picks a guests to be the trapper. The trapper must covertly wink at other guests and when winked at, each guest must perform a funny dramatic motion and sit down.
The detective has two guesses to work out who the trapper is. When everyone sits down, have them read the note to themselves and memorize it. As the dinner progresses, each guest has to naturally slip their phrase into the conversation, without the others noticing. Whoever is the most convincing wins!
