Autocad architecture construction line

Step Now, if you want to draw the horizontal line, then press the H button on the keyboard then press the enter key. Step Once you make a click, a horizontal construction line will come on your working screen of drawing. You can now place it at your desired place to make it a horizontal reference line in your drawing. Step Now, if you want to draw a vertical construction line, then press the V button from the keyboard then press enter button of the keyboard.

Step Once you make enter, a vertical line will become on your working screen of drawing. You can place this vertical line at your desired place for making it a vertical reference line in your drawing. Step If you want to make a construction line at a particular angle or inclination, then press the A button from the keyboard then press enter button of the keyboard.

Step Once you press the enter button, it will ask you to give the value of the angle at which you want to incline your construction line. I will enter 60 degrees as the inclination angle of my construction line for making it a reference line at a degree inclination, then press enter button of the keyboard. Step Once you press enter button, a construction line of degree inclination will come on the working screen of your drawing. You can place this incline line at your desired place in your drawing.

Step You can use this construction line as a bisect reference line. For bisect construction line, press B button from keyboard then press enter button of the keyboard. Step Now, it will ask you to specify any angle or vertex or point along which you want to use the bisect construction line.

I will click on this corner point of this rectangle. Step Once you make a click, a bisect construction line will come on your screen, and you can specify the second point for making its reference line. Step You can offset the construction line at a particular distance in your drawing.

For this, press the O button of the keyboard, then press enter button of the keyboard. Step Once you press enter button, it will ask you to take a line through which you want to offset the construction line. Step Now, it will ask you to give the offset distance at which you want to offset this construction line. I will give 30 as distance. Selects one or more 3D objects. Selecting several objects creates separate regions for each object.

Plan drawings are in fact a type of section, but they cut through the building on a horizontal rather than vertical plane.

The section line defines the extents of the section to extract from the building model. Section lines are bidirectional and you can specify the length and depth of the section line either visually, using the pointing device, or by entering numeric values. Add a section break Select where you want a new section to begin.

Choose the type of section break you want: Next Page Section break starts the new section on the following page. Continuous Section break starts the new section on the same page. Select the elevation line. Select the type of elevation object you want to create: For Style to Generate, select a style for a 2D elevation.

A plan drawing is a drawing on a horizontal plane showing a view from above. An Elevation drawing is drawn on a vertical plane showing a vertical depiction. A section drawing is also a vertical depiction, but one that cuts through space to show what lies within. The difference between Interior Elevations and Sections is that Interior Elevations start at the finished floor elevation and stop at the ceiling. Interior Elevations show individual walls in specific rooms, whereas Sections cut through floors showing multiple rooms stacked on top of each other.

Section Drawings This kind of construction drawing helps identify the primary structures in relation to other surrounding structures of the building. Further, section drawings also provide information for the types of materials to be used in the construction.

If you select a sketched line, the Section View PropertyManager with the current section label appears and you can immediately set the options for the section view. A 3D model, populated with intelligent objects, offers the ability to easily extract sections, elevations, views, schedules, etc.

The extraction is an inherent quality of creating a 3D digital model, vs. The Default Workspace for AutoCAD Architecture contains all of the controls, commands, and palettes that are enhanced for Architecture so you can hit the ground running.

Details and annotations are also easier with ACA, because it offers a larger library of detail components and keynoting tools.

Placing and populating room tags, finding room areas, or making schedules can be a time-consuming task. You can also make the elements in your design link to schedules, so they automatically reflect design changes, leveraging the power of data that is in the drawing.
